Video Snapshots Genius 2.3.1 is the latest released version of this software for Windows. It is delivered on a try-before-buy basis and there is a trial version we can download directly from the developer's website. It is possible to purchase it both from the website and from the program user's interface. With Video Snapshots Genius, we can easily capture photos from our video files. We can make it automatically or manually. We can extract pictures from most popular video format file, as it supports WMV/ASF/ASX/WVX/WM/WMX/RA/RM/RMS/MND/RAM/MPG/MPEG/RMM/R1M/MP2/DAT/AVI/FLV/VOB/MOV/QT. From the Main Window, we select to open a video file anywhere within our computer, external drivers and removable devices. Next, we select to take the shots automatically or manually. If we choose automatic mode, the program provides us with different capture methods. It can capture any specified number of shots from opened file, or capture a shot at specified time intervals. It allows us to select the output settings, destination folder, name, quality and output image format between JPG/PNG/BMP/GIF/TIF. We just can relax and the program will do it for us. Once the process is completed, we can view them as thumbnails or full size, save, edit, one by one or in batch mode. It is possible to add timestamp, resize on output, and many more. |
